Introducing the SDL Seminar Series: You’ve spoken, we’ve listened

Well it’s that time of year again, the time when the team at SDL start to work on developing our latest events program.

Following your feedback from the 2015 SDL Roadshow Series, 2 out of 3 attendees who completed our feedback survey wanted more product training and demonstrations from our events. When we started planning our 2016 Spring events we decided to respond to this and deliver exactly what you wanted, and I think you will be very happy with the results.

Reading through your feedback, it also became very apparent you were looking for a more tailored approach, customized for you in the role of professional translator or as a member of a language service provider or business localization team. Examples of the feedback on how to improve our events included “It would be better to group together people who are looking for the same thing from the event so that more time can be spent on what really matters to them" and “maybe you could have focused sections targeted to freelancers and other sections to companies."

Good news, our brand new event series, the SDL Seminar Series (available at European locations only), has been created with this feedback in mind and is completely free to attend.

Freelance Translators

  • Changing working practices and their impact on productivity

  • Trends towards interoperability and integration in the search for increased ROI
