SDL Trados Studio 2017 delivers a transformation in translation memory productivity. New generation technologies are seamlessly integrated into the software so that Studio works intelligently behind the scenes, leaving you free to focus on creating the best results for your clients and translate faster than ever before!
Studio 2017 introduces an innovative machine translation (MT) experience that self-learns from your post edits. AdaptiveMT, powered by SDL Language Cloud, is accessible directly from Studio 2017. Each time you save an edited MT suggestion, the change is stored so that your AdaptiveMT engine becomes trained to be specific to your style, tone and content.
You only need to correct an MT suggestion once using AdaptiveMT - saving time and improving the quality of your results - all in real time. Using a machine translation engine has never been easier!
upLIFT is the name for the new, revolutionary SDL technology that leverages segment “fragments” (also known as subsegments) from translation memory in a new way. upLIFT is able to provide match suggestions for both the “no match” and “fuzzy match” scenarios in various ways. By leveraging the fragments recalled from the translation memory, translators can work on both match types faster. At the same time, the upLIFT technology is able to use the fragments to repair the fuzzy matches from connected sources, delivering a genuine and unique lift in productivity.
